Fort Amherst, Chatham
Perhaps one of the most fascinating Halloween horror stories will be discovered here, in Chatham’s Fort Amherst. Why, you ask? Having been built during Napoleonic times as protection from a possible invasion, and having been in a constant renovation since 1980 the Fort hosts 300 years of military history. So, imagine yourself in one of Kent’s most haunted locations while adventuring yourself to its underground tunnels.
We must say, the top of the Fort and its speechless views are worth the scare.
