Halloween In Kent

30.09.2016 - General

Although such a lovely picturesque countryside, Kent will show its true colours this Halloween.

The beautiful settings that everyone adores during the day only masks Kent’s hidden secrets which can later be discovered in the most unexpected series of events.
So, you better try not to hide away in your lovely holiday home this year, instead, put some frightful teeth on, paint your face white and scare away. Not forgetting the fake blood!

What’s On this Halloween in Kent?

Scareland @Dreamland, Margate
This October, Dreamland puts its scary face on and changes into ‘Scareland’ after dark. Between the 14th and 29th October you get the chance to experience an award winning event – the biggest and best scare festival in Kent.
But beware, this event is for 14+ and definitely not for the faint hearted. Tickets are limited! So, hurry up!Location: Dreamland, Margate, CT9 1XJ

Kent-aminated, Maidstone The Ze Apocalypse will ‘Kent-aminate’ the beautiful county with fright and terror for approximately 45 minutes. An adults-only Halloween Fright Night where you will be participating in saving the historic houses from being destroyed while the Brundle’s Big Top will be transformed into a medical tent to cope with the forthcoming fatalities.
Location: Kent Life Lock Lane Maidstone ME14 3AU

Fort Amherst, Chatham
Perhaps one of the most fascinating Halloween horror stories will be discovered here, in Chatham’s Fort Amherst. Why, you ask? Having been built during Napoleonic times as protection from a possible invasion, and having been in a constant renovation since 1980 the Fort hosts 300 years of military history. So, imagine yourself in one of Kent’s most haunted locations while adventuring yourself to its underground tunnels.
We must say, the top of the Fort and its speechless views are worth the scare.
Location: Dock Road, Chatham, Kent, ME4 4UB

Betteshanger Country Park, Deal
In Deal, this Halloween is all about the walk of the Terror Trail but, the challenge is that the walk should be done without screaming. Yes, in the pitch black.
Do come prepared because on Saturday the night will continue with an outdoor screening of the cult horror – The Blair Witch Project.  Blankets, torches and a bunch of nerves are required!
Location: Betteshanger Park, Sandwich Road, Deal, Kent, CT14 0BF

Spooktastic Fancy Dress Halloween Disco party at Jungle Jims, just around the corner from the Keat Farm parks
But if you prefer a closer or just a bit less creepy Halloween event we highly recommend Spooktastic Fancy Dress Halloween Disco party at Jungle Jims where Ghoulish Games, Scary Disco Dancing and Trick or Treating are the highlight of this holiday.

It’s your choice, truly! But make sure you have a spooktacular time this Halloween.
