Not only from the wonderful floral displays by our holiday home owners but also with the addition of our new wooden troughs made by the park team. They have been planted up along the entrance and roadways providing a welcoming sight for all our visitors. We have also made good use of an old boat and planted it up, making it a unique garden space all of its own.
The shop and cafe have been busy with alfresco diners enjoying the sunshine out on the deck. Lesley, Linda and the ladies have been dishing up their tasty home cooked food all season as well as organising bingo, bbq raffles and quizzes. The shop and cafe will remain open until the end of October but all will return by popular demand next year.
We have increased our number of camping pitches with electric hook up, creating a ranch style enclosure in the first camping field. This area has proved really popular with our campers due to the improved lighting and being near the lower amenities block.
Sales of our holiday homes were very quick to materialise this season so we were pleased to welcome several new holiday home owners to the park. Our showground still has a Willerby Avonmore available, with a choice of plots around the park. You can also view other holiday home models at our Keat Farm Showground, near Herne Bay.
