News From Quex Park

03.11.2016 - General Holiday Parks

Quex Holiday Park has now been open for a few weeks after our brief winter closure. This allowed us to complete the hedge cutting and number all the touring plots; giving us 50 in total, a slight increase on last season.

Robins field has also seen some development with the installation of underground services of water, waste and electricity for 12 new holiday home plots. A road has also been created to access the new holiday homes, in addition to 14 new parking bays. Whilst undertaking this work the opportunity was seized to expand a small area in Finches field to provide up to 5 new parking spaces.

Last season we embarked on a children’s nature project, Quexplorers, which we plan to continue and expand throughout the spring and summer. To coincide with our work towards the David Bellamy Conservation Awards we have been building hedgehog homes out of recycled cable reels and will be creating an ant farm in what was our glass bug house.

The car rally will be returning to the park on August 6th and the popular quiz nights will make an appearance at regular intervals throughout the coming season.

Last, but certainly not least, we would like to welcome Brett and Caroline to the team, who have previously been based at one of our other holiday and touring parks, Little Satmar.

So let’s hope the weather is good to us and we look forward to welcoming you to Quex Holiday Park over the coming season!
