Pet Friendly Holidays In Kent

Holiday checklists not only include packing the essentials but often they involve sorting out suitable care of our pet(s).

For some this is very distressing and has apparently led to even considering cancelling the holiday completely!

If you find it upsetting leaving your pets behind when you go on your holidays then you are not alone. Millions of pet owners reportedly cannot bear the thought of being separated from their pets. In many cases this can influence where people go and for how long. Not only do they miss the company of their pets but every time they go away there is the consideration of kennel or cattery costs or organising suitable care.
Fortunately at Keat Farm most pets are more than welcome. You are allowed one dog per pitch, and with park management discretion, possibly more. The same applies to holiday home owners who have been known to bring their cats too.
One stipulation though is that, for the benefit of all park residents and holiday home owners, dogs must be exercised off the park. This safeguards the communal areas and maintains the high standards of the parks.

Why we welcome dogs at our parks

We want you to enjoy your stay at our parks and we appreciate that your pets are a part of what makes you happy. Keat Farm parks’ locations are perfect for dog walking, with fantastic coastal and woodland walks to enjoy, as well as many pubs popping up along the way. Keat Farm should always be your park home from home.

The Viking Coastal Trail mentioned in a previous blog is ideal for dog walking but you must adhere to the strict rules on the beaches during the spring, summer and autumn months.
If you do have more than one dog please do contact the park management; just in case.

So, if you are thinking about buying a holiday home, a residential park home or simply touring, then remember that Keat Farm parks will welcome you and your pet(s).
