Pet Friendly Holidays. Pack Your Bags And Your Pets!

03.11.2016 - General

Not only do holiday checklists involve packing the essentials but also organising suitable pet care. For some this can cause quite a headache and even result in some people cancelling their holiday altogether.

If you find it upsetting leaving your pets behind when you go on holiday then you are not alone. Millions of pet owners reportedly cannot bear the thought of being separated from their pets. In many cases this can influence where people choose to go and for how long.

Fortunately, at Keat Farm your pet is more than welcome. You are allowed one dog per pitch; however, if you do have more please check with the park management, there may be the possibility to accommodate an extra set of 4 legs.

One stipulation though, for the benefit of all campers and holiday home owners, pets must be on a lead and under your supervision at all times. We encourage you to exercise your pets off the park too; safeguarding the communal areas and maintaining the parks high standards for everyone to benefit from.

Why we welcome dogs at our parks

We want you to enjoy your stay at our parks and we appreciate that your pets are a part of what makes you happy. Keat Farm Parks’ locations are perfect for dog walking, with fantastic coastal and woodland paths and many pubs popping up along the way.

The Viking Coastal Trail, mentioned in an earlier blog, is ideal for dog walking; you just need to be aware of the rules on the beaches during the spring, summer and autumn months.

So, if you are thinking about buying a holiday home or booking a pitch for your tourer or tent then remember that Keat Farm Parks will welcome you and your pet.
