Exploring Kent by foot or bike is the best way to really get to appreciate the amazing area. Here you can enjoy countryside walks, coastal walks and cycles, with plenty of trails and routes available such as the 32 mile Viking Trail around the Isle of Thanet or the Crab and Winkle Way through Canterbury and Whitstable.  Kent is proud to offer nine blue flag beaches, with six being in Thanet.


In addition to beautiful coastline and countryside, Kent is also jam-packed with history. Visit the historic city of Canterbury and the beautiful cathedral, or go punting along the great River Stour taking in the beautiful views and historical facts of the city. Other historic sites include; The White Cliffs of Dover, Quex Park, Deal Castle and Dover Castle, all right on our doorstep!

Events, Attractions and Activities

Amongst numerous heritage sites and gardens to visit, there are also plenty of events, attractions and activities taking place in Kent throughout the year. As well activities mentioned before such a cycle routes and punting, you can also visit various animal parks such as Wingham Wildlife Park and Howletts both in Canterbury, and Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Hythe. A day out in itself plus plenty of experiences and activities to enjoy whilst you are there.
