The summer season is now well underway at Hawthorn Farm. We have already accommodated two rallies with old friends returning from the Netherlands NKC Club and the UK Classic Camper Club, both spending the Whitsun Bank Holiday here. The groups also took full advantage of the facilities offered at our nearby pub, The Old Lantern. It was a busy time at Hawthorn Farm Cafe too – including a full house on Bingo Night! Lesley, the cafe hostess, is planning more evening events throughout the summer.
We now produce a weekly newsletter to highlight local forthcoming events; copies are included in visitors welcome packs and our holiday home owners can pick up their issue from reception. We hope it encourages our guests to stay a little longer, or to return again soon!
Many of our visitors have already made complimentary comments about our newly renovated ablution blocks, now with eco friendly showers and LED lights; all clean and bright for the smartest of campers!!
Our conservation commitment continues, we’ve taken the British Beekeepers Honey Bee Pledge to be more bee friendly. Look out for our bee themed activities for visitor participation, plus, we will be planting more flowers and fruit trees that bees need and love.
If you manage to photograph the bees you see at Hawthorn Farm, please share them with us on our Facebook, Twitter pages or directly to our Keat Farm team. That would BEE awesome!
